Here are some of the BEFORE PHOTOS of 914 Broad Avenue. It’s a real diamond in the rough — and believe me — with the help of my contractors, Mike & Len (#1 father & son team), my brother Chuckie & our mom Judy, sister-in-law Pam, husband Bob, and son Cody — we can get this FIRST NOSTALGIC GUESTHOUSE up and running in noooooooooooooo time!!

I just thought it would make this blog more interesting if you could see where we were (which is pretty scary) and where we are going (and how we’re getting there).

Also — I’m hoping to get a little better at this ‘blogging’ thing too.

New WINDOWS TODAY – April 28, 2008

WHooohoooo!! New windows were replaced today and I was happy to see another ‘female’ with a tool belt on helping to install the replacement windows. The new windows really make a difference to ‘beautifying’ the outside appearance of Good Ol’ Days.

We are ready to install the interior toilet to the powder room (which is a cool corner unit) on the main floor, and the new toilet on the second floor — didn’t mean to focus on such a “crappy” subject — such as toilets — but that is what is going on and we’re making great progress. We’re less than 2 months away from OPENING GOOD OL’ DAYS and know that it will be here before you know it!!
